We are not merely a supplier
of semi-finished products. On request, we provide support for customer
projects, extending from materials development, through product selection,
to advising on subsequent processing stages such as forming, cutting
and joining. Our Prototyping Centre specialises in such partnership
projects. We can also help with paving the way for business contacts
with the competence centres that specialise in the further processing
of TEPEX®.
The individual project stages comprise:
Stage 1. Technical Feasibility study The very first task is to conduct a
technical feasibility analysis: is it fundamentally possible to produce
a particular component from TEPEX®, and which methods are the
most suitable? Can TEPEX® satisfy the specific requirements of
the application?
· Feasibility analysis
· FEM analysis
· Draping analysis
Stage 2. TEPEX® material specifications In this stage, the TEPEX® composition
is selected together with the customer and optimised for a particular
application.
Stage 3. Economic feasibility study Before you invest in tools, a prediction
of how economical the entire process will be, should be made. Here
again, we can be of assistance.
Stage 4. Prototype developments Bond-Laminates has several prototyping
machines for the manufacturing of TEPEX® applications. Based
on your drawings we can design forming tools, which can be manufactured
in our partners tool shops. Using these tools we can manufacture
parts on our prototyping equipment. · Tool design and manufacturing
· Process specification
· Prototype manufacturing and refinements
· Trimming
Stage 5. Production start · Contacts with plant manufacturers
· Process and plant specifications
